As I mentioned earlier, today's session will be led by our in house product expert team who have been driving the development of these powerful new features. We will start things off today with product director James as well as our product managers, Paul and Karthik. Between Braveheart, Fargo, and the never ending story, it's clear this team appreciates bold moves, unexpected twists, and epic journeys. So it's only fitting they're here to walk you through the next chapter of smarter email marketing. Once again, thank you for joining us. You are in great hands. And with that, I will turn it over to James. Thank you very much, Cheyenne, for that great introduction. Again, my name is James Lutzy, and I am the director of product management here at Campaign Monitor. I'm extremely excited to be here with you today with myself and my team to give you a behind the scenes look at our latest features and what we see as the next phase of growth here at Campaign Monitor. For more than twenty years, Campaign Monitor has helped marketers connect with their audiences through email. That kind of longevity is rare in today's fast moving tech landscape. Campaign Monitor continues to be recognized as a global leader by trusted independent platforms like g two. This is because of the real results we deliver and experiences we create for marketers. What's kept up relevant for all these years? We listen closely to our customers. We innovate continuously, and we design solutions that are deeply informed by the industries that we serve without ever sacrificing our ease of use. It's the reason why today's conversation matters. As marketing teams face tighter budgets, fewer resources, and more pressures to perform, your owned channel, email, can become more challenging than ever. But to do it right, email remains the most reliable and controllable way to reach your audience when you do. Still, what marketers typically experience is a growing gap between what they need to compete and the tools they have time to actually use to execute. Oftentimes, that means teams try to close the gap with more sense, broader segments, and a lot of guesswork. But as attention windows shrink and expectations rise, the margin for error gets smaller, which means every message has to land. Every moment of engagement has to be impactful, and marketers need the ability to course correct in real time. That's exactly why we've seen such massive advancements in technology, especially when it comes to AI. Now before we dive in, I'd like to take a quick pulse check. Make sure you guys are with me so far. We'll be using the chat feature on the right hand side of your screen to engage a bit today. K? And Cheyenne is going to put the question up in the queue. But the question that I would like to ask first and foremost is, how many of you use some form of AI in your daily work? Please give a thumbs up in that in that chat feature. Use some sort of AI in your daily work. K? Some good responses. Alright. Great. So I'm guessing a few of you immediately thought I was referring to, say, ChatGPT with that question. Right? But let me ask it in a different way as well. Does anyone use tools like autocorrect or predictive text or grammar suggestions? Again, just a thumbs up are fine. More and more rolling in. Okay. How about this one? Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, a voice search. More and more. There you go. As you'll see, I'm not trying to call anyone out here for the AI habits, but, obviously, everybody is using AI. We are using AI. Right? And, obviously, not just you, your boss, people that may be not be on this call, everyone is using AI in what they're doing today. The point is whether you realize it or not, it helps us to simplify tasks, get answers faster, and execute on our jobs more efficiently when used correctly. So as we could see, right, AI is no longer this futuristic concept. It's already part of the work we do every day. We rely on it to move faster and make better decisions, reduce friction, all of these things. And what we've decided to do, and we wanna do a campaign monitor, as we've been thinking about AI and how does it work and how can we make it work better from marketers specifically. We wanna remove complexity, create clarity, and help you act with confidence. And that's exactly what's behind our new suite of AI powered capabilities. It's an in app intelligence layer. Think of this next level functionality as your in app marketing partner. Behind the scenes, we'll guide you. Surface opportunities will help you course correct when it matters most, a practical, always on assistant to help support real marketing work. This new suite of AI features is built around three things that modern marketers need. Right? We need clarity, speed, and confidence. Clarity to understand what's working and what's not, speed to act without friction, and confidence that you're making the right moves. And at a time where teams are stretched thin, these tools help to ensure your most important owned channel, your email, remains the most reliable and powerful asset in your marketing mix. So remember when earlier when we talked about how little time you actually have to attract and engage with your audience? When attention is limited, message relevance is most important. Campaign Monitor is built to help you earn the attention your product or service demands By combining real performance data, industry benchmarks, and twenty plus years of email expertise, Campaign Monitor helps the channel you own again your email remain the most reliable, high performing connection you have with your audience. So one thing that's important to understand is that we're showing you today just a small portion of the capabilities that we have within Campaign Monitor. We'll refer to it as a system for today's purposes, an intelligent system designed to work in conjunction with our platform built to support you at every stage of your workflow. That means that the AI intelligence will cover today, it lives directly inside your Campaign Monitor platform. There's no need to leave your workflow. No need to export data. No need to guess what to do next. Whether you're building, analyzing, optimizing, or refining, this guidance shows up right where you're already working. So these new features are here to help you make smarter decisions, move faster, and course correct in real time. Now to walk you through the ins and out of the capabilities, I'm gonna first hand it off to Paul to start talking a little bit around marketing monitor. Thanks, James, and welcome, everyone. As James mentioned, we're going to dive deeper into the three AI powered features of today's product launch, starting with marketing monitor. Some of you may have already seen a bit on this feature. It was released the tail end of last year, and we've been getting outstanding feedback in our customer groups about how the intelligence built into marketing monitor is already helping teams amplify their engagement. You can see some of the feedback we've already received on this slide. So what is Marketing Monitor? It's built to reduce guesswork, save you time, and help you improve results faster. So no more wondering what matters, no more digging for insights, and no more delayed decisions. Just clear signals, prioritize actions, and smarter next steps right where you need them. At its core, marketing monitor gives you a clear, real time view of your overall campaign performance so you're not just seeing numbers but understanding what they mean. It places your results in the context of your specific industry, helping you see how you're really performing and where you have room to improve. That's why we like to think of it as your in app performance partner. It doesn't just report on what happened, it helps you decide what to do next. Marketing monitor delivers real time insights measured against relevant industry benchmarks. It recommends specific tactics you can apply to boost your results, and it highlights recent performance signals so you can take action immediately. In other words, it's your built in course corrector helping you adjust, optimize, and improve without waiting for a monthly report or post campaign analysis. So now that you understand what Marketing Monitor is, let's talk about how it actually works. With Marketing Monitor, you can instantly see how your email campaigns are performing through a single, easy to read dashboard. So that's no digging, no decoding charts, and no second guessing. That insight is powered by real industry benchmarks and your own historical performance. So you're not just seeing the data, you're seeing meaningful context. You immediately know, am I on track, am I ahead, or do I need to adjust? And because that intelligence is built right into the platform, Marketing Monitor eliminates the need for manual analysis or pulling in outside tools to make sense of your results. And here's the real impact. It saves you time, it simplifies reporting, and it gives you the confidence in every decision you make. No more guessing. No more waiting. Just clarity, speed, and confidence right where you need it. And this is where Marketing Monitor really delivers on that clarity, speed, and comfort confidence. Instead of leaving you with too much data and uncertainty, Marketing Monitor services personalized next steps directly in your dashboard. These include specific ways to optimize things like subject lines, send timing, and segmentation based on your actual performance, not just generic best practices. As a result, you get clarity from direction on what matters most right now, no more wondering what to fix or optimize first. You gain speed by acting immediately without digging through reports or running manual analysis. And because every recommendation is grounded in real performance data, you improve confidence knowing your next move is the right one. This removes trial and error, focuses your effort where it will have the biggest payoff. Remember, these recommendations are powered by Campaign Monitor's data science and deliverability expertise built on insights from thousands of small businesses and millions of campaigns. So you're not just moving faster, you're moving smarter with clarity and confidence. Okay. So now you understand what Marketing Monitor is designed to do. Let's take a look at in action. Just bear with me a moment while I share my demo. Okay. Just wait for the screen to load there. So marketing monitor is designed to give you a clear practical view of how your email marketing is actually performing and what to do next. Marketing monitor brings performance, guidance, and learning into one place. So instead of jumping between reports and guessing what to try next, you have a single trusted starting point. So I'll walk through each section and explain how they work together. So marketing monitor lives directly in the main navigation, so it's always easy to come back to. Right now, it looks at your sent campaigns from the last ninety days and uses that data to give you a current meaningful snapshot of performance because the goal here is not historical reporting, but helping you understand how you're doing now. At the top of the dashboard, you see an overview of your recent campaign performance. You can select the industry that best represents your business, and the metrics update to show you how your average open rate, click rate, unsubscribe rate, and bounce rate compared to industry averages. And this is important because raw numbers don't mean much on their own. A 30% open rate might be strong in one industry and underperforming in another. Marketing monitor gives your metrics context so you can immediately see where you're ahead and where there's room to improve. For most teams, this helps answer a simple but critical question. How are we doing compared to our peers? So once you understand where you stand, the next question is usually, what should I actually work on next? And marketing monitor answers that by allowing you to choose a single goal. Right now, you can focus on improving open rates or increasing click rates. When I select a goal, marketing monitor generates a short list of prioritized tactics that are known to support that outcome. These are not generic best practices. These are practical actions that you can take with inside the product, like AB testing subject lines, improving preheaders, using personalization, or reaching more relevant segments. What's important here is how this list is ordered. The tactics are prioritized based on how often they've been used recently with underused tactics rising to the top of the list. The idea is to surface things that are most likely to make a difference. For example, in this account, we can see that subject line AB testing hasn't been used consistently. If the goal is to boost opens, that's a strong signal that this could be a valuable tactic to try next. So rather than guessing or relying on habit, marketing monitor helps point you towards the areas where experimentation may have the highest impact. You can also switch goals at any time. When I change the goal, you'll notice the list of tactics changes and reprioritizes itself. That's because the system is now focusing on tactics that influence engagement after the email is opened, such as layout, calls to action, or audience targeting. This makes it easy to explore different improvement paths without losing focus or context. You're always starting from a clear goal with a manageable set of next steps. Now the final section of marketing monitor helps close the loop between action, the tactics that you've used, and outcome. Here, you'll see a table of your recent campaigns, and for each campaign, you can see a list of the tactics that tactics were used and how that campaign performed compared to your average results over the last ninety days. This makes it easier to move beyond surface level metrics and start understanding cause and effect Because everybody's audience is different and what works well for one audience might not work the same way for another, and this table is designed to help you explore that nuance. For example, you might start to notice that campaigns using a personalized subject line alongside multiple calls to action may tend to outperform your average, or you may see that a single tactic on its own has less impact than when combined with another, and over time, this helps you identify tactics or combinations of tactics that consistently nudge the metric you care about. So instead of guessing or relying on assumptions, you have real campaign evidence to guide you on what to repeat, refine, or avoid in future sense. So taken together, Marketing Monitor helps you move from data to action. You get clarity on how you're performing compared to your industry, focus for a single goal and prioritize tactics, and proof for real campaign results. It's designed to support better decisions without adding complexity or changing how you work today. And that's how marketing master helps turn everyday email performance into continuous improvement. Now we'll just swap back to the presentation here. Okay. So what's next for marketing monitor? We're focusing on more powerful filtering so you can tailor marketing monitor to how you work, whether you want to zoom in on specific campaigns or time periods. It'll be even easier to cut through the noise and get signal. We're improving how tactics are surfaced, applied, and evaluated. The goal is to make it clearer which tactics are worth your time, how they're being used, and what impact they're actually having for your audience. We'll continue expanding the range of tactics available, covering more use cases and stages of the campaign life cycle so you can always have relevant next steps to explore. And we're investing in more powerful AI to help analyze your campaigns and performance. That means be moving beyond surface level metrics to clearer explanations, stronger patterns, and more confident recommendations about what to do next. Remember, if you have any questions, feel free to pop them in the chat, and we'll address them as quickly as possible. So what you just saw with Marketing Monitor is the clarity, helping you understand what's working, what's not, and where to focus next. It shows you the opportunities, but insight alone isn't enough. The next question every marketer asks is, okay. Now what do I actually do about it? And that's exactly where our next feature comes in because once you know what needs improvement, you need a faster, smarter way to fix it. And that brings us to our next feature, AI email booster. So while Marketing Monitor shows you what to improve, AI Email Booster helps you improve it instantly. So let's talk about what AI Email Booster actually does. At its core, AI Email Booster gives marketers a fast, clear path to better email performance by delivering high impact recommendations that can be applied with a single click. These aren't just cosmetic tweaks. They're the kinds of changes that meaningfully improve readability, clarity, and engagement, so your message is easier to understand and more likely to drive action. If you think one of the biggest challenges marketers have is usually with optimization and knowing what actually moves the needle, AI Email Booster uses in builder analysis to pinpoint the specific levers that are most likely to impact performance to keep you in the captain's seat. Things like CTA clarity, readability, tone, and layout. These aren't just abstract suggestions. These are real drivers of clicks and engagement based on the goal of your email. So instead of guessing what to tweak, you instantly see the areas that have the highest potential return. Once AI Email Booster identifies those high impact levers, it does something even more important. It prioritizes them for you. By servicing the most impactful improvements first, you're not so overwhelmed with a long list of things to fix. You immediately know where to focus your time for the biggest payoff, reducing cognitive load, shortening decision time, and helping you move faster. And this is where it becomes truly practical, not theoretical. Recommendations come with a short rationale supporting informed decision making rather than blind automation. Each recommendation comes with an apply change button that can instantly update your draft, so there's no tedious manual editing, no copy pasting, and no reworking everything from scratch. And because AI Email Booster lives right inside Campaign Monitor, you never have to switch tools or break your flow. You stay focused, you stay in context, and you keep moving. Most importantly, you're always in control. You choose which recommendations to accept or undo with one click. Repetitive tasks are eliminated, but your voice, judgment, and intent remains intact. And this is how AI Email Booster delivers clarity, speed, and confidence right inside the work you're already doing. So now you've seen what AI Email Booster is designed to do, let's take a look at it in action. So I'm just gonna swap my screen over again here, and we'll show you what AI Email Booster looks like. Okay. So AI Email Booster is built directly into the campaign monitor email builder. Its job is simple, help you improve the email you're already working on before you send it. It reviews your draft, identifies high impact opportunities, and gives you clear explainable recommendations you can apply without changing your workflow. Because one of the most common challenges marketers face is knowing what to improve before hitting send. Now you might be looking at this draft email and wondering, is the message clear? Is the call to action strong enough? Is this easy to scan? Or will this actually drive clicks? And traditionally, you only get those answers after the campaign goes out when it's too late to change anything. But AI Email Booster brings that feedback forward into the creation moment so you can optimize with confidence and not hindsight. So when I click the AI Email Booster button, the first thing that happens is Campaign Monitor's AI platform analyzes the draft I'm working on. Before suggesting any changes, it focuses on understanding the purpose of the email. Is this a newsletter designed to keep subscribers informed? Is this a promotional email driving donations or registrations for an event? And this step is critical because effective emails are contextual. What works for a retail promotion is very different from what works for a product update or an announcement. And by understanding the intent and type of email first, the system avoids applying generic best practices and instead focuses on what matters most for this campaign. Once that context is established, AI Email Booster analyzes the draft across a range of proven performance drivers, and after a short analysis, you'll see a set of recommendations appear in this panel on the right hand side. This includes things like strength and placement of calls to action, readability, tone, and layout, and how likely it is to achieve the determined goal in its current format. Each recommendation is designed to be very intentional and very transparent. You'll see what the suggestion is and just as importantly, why it matters. This is not a black box. You'll also notice how recommendations are grouped and prioritized. High impact changes represent what the AI system interprets as having the greatest potential impact towards the goal of this email. So in other words, these are changes that are most likely to influence the outcome you care about, whether that's clicks, engagement, or action from your audience. This helps remove the guesswork and gives you a clear starting point rather than a long list of things that may or may not matter. For example, if the goal of this email is to drive clicks or donations and the booster detects that there isn't a strong or clear call to action, it may recommend adding one. And if I agree with this recommendation, I can apply it with a single click. When I do that, the AI email booster updates the draft immediately and highlights the part of the email that changed so I can clearly see what was modified. And this is useful because it keeps the optimization very grounded. I'm never guessing what the AI changed or where. And if I want to undo that change, I can revert it just as easily and return back to the previous version. Nothing is locked in and nothing is automatically applied. In another case, if this email is promoting an event and the key details like time, location, and date aren't clearly surfaced, the AI email booster may flag that as missing context and recommend adding those details. And as I apply the recommendations, you'll notice the same pattern each time. The change is made in context. It's highlighted clearly, and I stay in full control of whether or not this belongs in the campaign. And this makes it easy to layer improvements one by one, review how the email evolves, and stop when it feels right because you're not just optimizing blindly, you're iterating with intention. So that's how the AI email booster turns insights into improvement. It shows you what to change and makes it easy to change it. But there's one more piece of the puzzle we haven't talked about yet because even the best message won't perform if it's sent to the wrong audience, and that's where our final feature comes in. So I'm gonna hand over to Kartik to talk through the segment mapper. Thank you, Paul. Hello, everyone. I'm just gonna switch my screen to share tech with you and, take you through our final feature, segment mapper. Now most marketers know that better segmentation leads to better performance, but very few feel confident they're actually doing it well. And that's the gap SegmentMapper is designed to close. SegmentMapper is the fastest, simplest way to turn audience intent into precise targeting without requiring technical expertise. It uses natural language processing or NLP so you can describe the audience you want in plain English and instantly turn that into a usable segment. No SQL, no complex logic, no guesswork. And instead of working with rows of data, segment mapper makes your audience visual and intuitive. It helps you see how segments overlap, spot gaps and new opportunities, and understand your audience in a way that's clear, not abstract. So instead of wrestling with complexity, you get clarity. Instead of a slow setup, you get speed. And instead of second guessing you're targeting, you get confidence that the right message is going to the right people. So instead of forcing marketers to translate human intent into rigid technical logic like and conditions or rules or even nested exclusions, which usually creates friction between strategy and execution, segment mapper allows you to describe the audience you want in plain language. And it automatically translates that intent into accurate segmentation rules. No manual logic building required. No and or gymnastics. No complex conditions or technical barriers. Just clarity between what you mean and what the system does. So why does it matter? Because when segmentation is easy to use, marketers actually use it. And when marketers use segmentation more often, personalization improves and performance follows. Instead of being a one time setup, segmentation becomes something you refine, test, and optimize continuously. And that's where segment mapper changes again. By removing the technical barrier to entry, it enables more teams to use segmentation confidently across campaigns, across journeys, and across the entire customer life cycle. Instead of avoiding segmentation because it feels complex, teams lean into it because it finally feels intuitive, leading to more relevant messages, stronger engagement, and better results. When segmentation becomes easier, your customer journey becomes a true path forward, not a series of wrong turns. Think about it like a path. When your targeting is unclear, your customer journey becomes fragmented. People receive messages that feel out of sync, mis timed, or irrelevant. But when your targeting is more accurate, the entire journey becomes smoother. Messages feel intentional. Steps feel connected, and every interaction makes sense. More accurate targeting means higher relevance, stronger engagement, and fewer wasted sense. You're no longer sending messages at people. You're guiding them forward one relevant moment at a time. And because segment mapper build segments with clearer intent and fewer errors, the relevance carries across the entire journey from first touch to nurture to conversion to retention. So instead of disconnected campaigns, you create a continuous meaningful path, and that's when segmentation stops being a technical task and starts becoming the engine behind better customer experiences. Again, this is under the feature some of our existing customers have had an opportunity to weigh in on. Here are some early feedback from those currently using this feature. Okay. Now that you've seen why segment mapper matters, let's take a look at how segment mapper works inside the platform. I'm gonna take a moment to switch my screens again to show you the demo. To set the stage, I'll go back in time and talk about the email that Paul had. The campaign email to raise funds has been beautifully crafted using AI email booster. With the right message in place, it's time for Paul to find the right audience. And to do that, we're looking for common traits in our subscribers that aligns with the goal of the campaign email. Within campaign model, the audience or subscribers are part of a list like you see here. The traits could come from custom fields or engagement activity with previous campaigns and journeys. Let's see how we can use this information to find the right audience. To do that, I'll click through segment mapper, select an objective from my list. I'll describe my segment as subscribers who have expressed interest but have not opened the last campaign. Analyze is where the magic happens. If the prompt has all the necessary details, all the necessary information, it comes back with a preview of how the segment looks like. A confirmation on the goal and the logic gives me clarity and confidence to proceed, and I can create a segment. Now if you wish to refine your prompt to use a different set of parameters, you could update the prompt and analyze again. And like before, it uses the information to come back with a preview. There's a refined objective. You can even change your primary objective. Preview your segment with confidence, and with one click of a button, you can create a segment. Sometimes targeting the right audience means excluding subscribers who are not a good match. It's always important to create such a segment so you can exclude them in your sense. Finally, if you're looking to close the gaps between segments or for some inspiration, you can choose to generate ideas. And as before, generating ideas goes through those attributes such as custom fields, engagement activity to come back with a proposal that might resonate with you. Let me preview what this high value donors look like. Subscribers with donation amounts above a $100, perfect for VIP engagement and major donation cultivation. And as before, clicking through create segment will create my segment that I chose with the right objective. Imagine the cognitive load when you have to handcraft the logic for all the possible combinations for a large list of subscribers with a large list of attributes just so the system could understand what you're thinking. That's why we have segment mapper. It turns segmentation from confusing maze into a clear guided path. I'm gonna swap my screen again to return to the deck. So what's text for segment mapping? Segmenting at the right time. We're improving when and where you segment your audience for improved targeting. Whether you want to segment when you bring in subscribers or when you want to apply it as a tactic, it'll be easier for you to identify the right audience for your campaigns and journeys. Building an intuitive interface. We're building an interfer intuitive interface that will not only let you create segments easily, but also preview them before you create them. What you see is what you get. From ideas to recommendations, we'll leverage AI to scan deeper and turn those ideas into recommendations. This will help create high value and impactful segments from start and reduce the turnaround time to success. And now that you've seen all three features in action, I want to reiterate some of the value the system brings. Because while each of these capabilities is powerful on their own, the real value is what happens when they work together. Marketing model gives you clarity, showing you what's happening and where to focus. AI email booster gives you speed, turning insight into immediate action. And segment mapper gives you confidence, making sure the right message reaches the right people. With that, I'm gonna test turn the rest of the presentation over to James to review how you can access these new features. James, over Thank you so much, Kartik. And as Kartik said, this product release goes beyond three separate features. It's a connected system of intelligence. One that helps you see what matters, then act on it instantly, and deliver it to the right audience every time. So instead of jumping between tools, second guessing decisions, working in silos, you get a single guided path from insight to action to impact. That's the difference between features and a system. So now that we've seen how these three features work together as a connected system, the next question is simple. Right? How do we get access to it? You could find our upfront pricing on our website, campaignmonitor.com, then just hit the top navigation, go to the pricing section, and we'll let you see what our pricing is. But just so you know, if you select the essentials plan or higher, all of these features are included with unlimited use at no additional cost. You don't need to worry about hitting any usage limits or anything to that nature. Okay? So, also, there's one last thing that I think is very important for everybody to know here that's on the call. If you do make a purchase today, we're giving 25% off the first year with the coupon code that you see on the pricing page. That's going to be available up to the March. And, for example, the the discount that that is, that normal annual cost on the low subscriber tiers of zero to 500 would be about $313, and now it'd be about $2.35 with that 25% off. So an excellent saving, head on over to the pricing page. If you want to buy the annual plans, we'll get there's 25% off, but these are included. We didn't want to have any add ons or anything to that nature. We wanted to make sure you had the ability to utilize these features within the application itself. So what does this all add up to? With campaign monitor, you're not just adding new features. You're preparing your entire program for liftoff. You can see performance clearly. You can optimize with confidence, and you can target your audiences more effectively. And the best part, you can do all of that without changing your workflows. We wanted to make sure that as you're go working through your workflows, these features will meet you where you are. Right? It helps you move faster, helps you move smarter, and with more certainty. And that's what modern email should feel like. So as we wrap up today, I wanna make it easy for you to have your next steps. If you're ready to get started, go right ahead over to our website. You could open a new account, as I mentioned. Annual plan is 25% off for essentials. So essentials or higher will include all of these features that you've seen today. If you'd like a more hands on approach or you want some more guidance, feel free to head over to the website and even book a demo. We could review your specific goals, your use cases, and workflows as well. And if you wanna revisit anything that we covered today, everybody is going to be getting a a email copy of this presentation so that you can utilize that as well.
